10.1

The Olympic Meet marked the end of our eight week Olympic lifting cycle. In the comments, please post your pre cycle and post cycle maxes for snatch and clean and jerk. This does not have to be what you lifted in the meet, but if you did PR in the meet that rocks.  This can be a max from any point in the cycle.

Our good friend, Nicole Berry, joined us from CF Jenks on Sunday.

  7. Chesca, your 135# cleans are like reverse curls with a little jump, super-woman; you can definitely go heavier! Congrats on the pull-ups and DU's :)

  8. Good News: I lift more like a weightlifter and less like a farmer after this cycle. I am excited to max out these lifts soon...especially clean & jerk. I spent the bulk of my time with Steve working on snatch technique. I have noticed that I am able to more consistently hit heavy numbers and putting together heavy doubles and triples feels exponentially easier. (<-- I will give hook gripping the credit here)
    1. Snatch 135 (130)
    2. Clean 190 (185)
    3. Clean & Jerk ??? (175)

I didn't get to workout Sunday. So... I did this today with class:

    1. 3 x 5 (T&G SC): 125#, 135#, 145#

    2. With a 10 Min Time Cap..
    1500 M Row
Max Rep Shoulder to Overhead (40 reps @ 105#)
